Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design

Interior Design is a new discipline that is up-and-coming.

Nowadays, the consumer does not want to acquire products or services, but they aspire to live experiences and emotions. Moreover, companies are recruiting Interior Designers who, in addition to their profile, could bring to companies management, design and communication skills.

This situation means that there is an increasing need for professionals of design who are specialized in interior design and who are highly qualified to shoulder the responsibility of designing private residences, hotels, theatres, restaurants, department stores, shopping centres, offices, and entertainment centres etc.

The Interior Designer works on buildings to endow them with exceptional and functional qualities, habitability and aesthetic. Therefore, it has become compulsory the fact that in some areas, the Interior Designer needs to be deeply conscious of the national economic situation as gastronomy, hospitability industry and tourism.

Our students learn how to design spaces, and also to create and adjust 3D models for their own projects. In this respect, they acquire important skills such as how to design graphics and to manage audio-visual resources such as video edition in order to professionally elaborate presentations of their projects and present them in public. These skills are fostered while carrying out professional trainings in top studios and companies of the sector.

In this manner, our students combine technical training and the necessary skills to create spaces of deeply emotional connection with the design language associated with brands. They also develop the skills to carry out highly qualified projects, taking on the responsibility to put these projects into action, supervising contractors and suppliers and endowing spaces with personal styles.

Pursuing the degree of Interior Design at ESNE, our students will acquire the ability to conceptualize and develop technically and aesthetically projects such as department stores, offices and restaurants, luxurious houses, or design decoration of cinemas, TV studios, museum graphics, stands, events, including the conceptualization of virtual spaces, furniture design, and architectural lightning design.
